SECURING THE FUTURE OF QUESTACON

Questacon, Australia's national home of science and technology, will receive 15 million per year beyond the forward estimates.

The funding will enable Questacon to remain a state-of-the-art facility which can accommodate growing numbers of visitors in the years to come.

Questacon brings Australian science to life. Its world-class programs, displays and interactive digital activities inspire children to develop a life-long interest in science and technology.

Opened in 1988, half a million people pass through the doors of Questacon each year - many of which are school children on excursions.

Its national programs reach more than 70,000 people in regional and remote areas each year.
