APPOINTMENT TO THE AUSTRALIA POST BOARD
The Albanese Government has reappointed Dr Richard Dammery as a non-executive Director of the Australia Post Board for another three-year term.
Dr Dammery was first appointed to the Board in September 2021, and has brought valuable governance, legal and commercial expertise to the Board.
His experience includes roles as the former Chief Legal Officer at Woolworths Group, General Counsel at Coles Group and partner at Minter Ellison. He is also an experienced non-executive Director on several boards in the technology and logistics industries.
Dr Dammery is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an adjunct Professor at Monash University Business School.
The reappointment of Dr Dammery ensures the retention of critical corporate knowledge and continuity on the Board. He will commence his new appointment on 30 September 2024.
